FanLore Sports is a community-driven storytelling platform created for sports fans who want to go beyond the box score. We believe the true culture of sport lives in the moments shared between fans — the stories told in living rooms, at stadiums, and passed down through generations.

The Platform
FanLore allows fans to share short personal "Moments" — text stories tagged by sport, team, athlete, stadium, and emotion. A rich reaction system (Legendary, Heartbreak, Pride, Unreal, Love) helps the most emotionally resonant stories rise to the top of the feed.
Part of ARK Lounge
FanLore is developed by Felix Consulting Group as part of the ARK Lounge platform family, alongside StreamPilot (live streaming tools) and Wildlife Films (nature film community). ARK Lounge is dedicated to building media experiences for passionate communities.
The Future
Our long-term vision includes live storytelling during games, fan podcasts, stadium storytelling events, and AI narration of fan stories — preserving sports culture for generations to come.
1. Get the App
Download Expo Go from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Open the app and scan the QR code at the top of this page to launch FanLore.
2. Set Up Your Profile
Tap the Profile tab to customize your display name, username, and bio. Select your favorite teams from the list — this personalizes your feed with moments from fans who support the same teams.
3. Explore the Feed
The Home tab shows a scrollable feed of Moments. Use the filter buttons at the top to switch between:
- Trending — most-reacted moments across all sports
- Following — moments from storytellers you follow
- My Teams — moments tagged with your favorite teams
4. Share a Moment
Tap the center Moment tab (the plus button) to create a new story. Fill in:
- A title for your moment
- Your story — what happened and what it meant to you
- Sport, team, athlete, and stadium (athlete/stadium are optional)
- Emotion tags that best describe the feeling
Tap "Share Moment" and your story will appear in the feed immediately.
5. React to Stories
On any Moment card, tap one of the five reactions at the bottom: Legendary, Heartbreak, Pride, Unreal, or Love. Tap again to remove your reaction. Stories with more reactions rise in the Trending feed.
6. Follow Athletes
Open the Athletes tab to browse all featured athletes. Tap an athlete's card to view their fan hub — all Moments mentioning them in one place. Tap Follow to see new stories about that athlete in your feed.
7. Explore by Sport or Emotion
The Explore tab lets you search for any Moment by keyword, filter by sport, or browse by emotion tag. Switch to the Athletes tab within Explore to find specific players.
8. View Full Moments
Tap any Moment card to open the full story view with all reactions visible.

FanLore Sports ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Information We Collect
- Profile Information: Display name, username, and bio that you provide.
- Content: Moments (stories), reactions, and follow relationships you create in the app.
- Usage Data: How you interact with the app (screens visited, features used) to improve the experience.
- Device Information: Device type and operating system for compatibility purposes.
How We Use Your Information
- To display your profile and Moments to other users
- To personalize your feed based on your favorite teams and followed athletes
- To improve app performance and user experience
- To maintain community safety and enforce our terms of use
Data Storage
In the current MVP version, all data is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. No personal data is transmitted to external servers unless explicitly stated in future updates.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share anonymized, aggregated usage statistics to improve our platform.

- Access the data associated with your account
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Opt out of analytics tracking
Children's Privacy
FanLore is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using FanLore, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to be bound by these terms and our Privacy Policy.
Your Content
You retain ownership of the Moments and stories you share. By posting content, you grant FanLore a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute your content within the platform. You are solely responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe on any third-party rights.
Prohibited Conduct
- Posting harassing, hateful, or discriminatory content
- Sharing false or misleading information
- Impersonating athletes, teams, or other users
- Using the platform for commercial solicitation without permission
- Attempting to access or disrupt other users' accounts
- Posting content that violates any applicable law
Moderation
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms and to suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly or egregiously violate community standards.
Disclaimer of Warranties
FanLore is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.
Limitation of Liability
Felix Consulting Group shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of FanLore.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Local Storage (Current MVP)
In the current version of FanLore, all user-generated content — including your profile, Moments, reactions, and follow relationships — is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This means:
- Your data does not leave your device
- Uninstalling the app will delete all local data
- Your data is not synced across multiple devices
Analytics
We may collect anonymized, non-identifiable usage analytics (such as which screens are visited most frequently) to improve the app experience. This data contains no personally identifiable information.
Future Data Practices
As FanLore grows into a full social platform, we plan to introduce:
- Cloud sync for your profile and Moments
- Account authentication with encrypted password storage
- Backups to prevent data loss
All future data practices will be disclosed transparently via an updated Privacy Policy and notified to users in-app before they take effect.
Third-Party Services
FanLore does not currently share user data with third-party advertising networks or data brokers.
Data Retention
Your data is retained as long as you use the app. You can delete your data at any time by clearing the app's storage via your device settings or by contacting us at data@felixconsultinggroup.com.
